FAB Teeth Club (the "Club") is a dental membership platform operated by FAB Teeth Club Ltd, providing members with access to defined preventive dental benefits, clinical care delivered by the Clinic, and a digital member experience including the FAB Teeth Club app.
The Club is not insurance and does not replace clinical judgment. Clinical decisions remain at all times with the regulated dental professionals delivering your care.
These Terms and Conditions form a contract between you (the "member") and FAB Teeth Club Ltd. By completing the join flow and submitting your Direct Debit instruction you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and the documents referenced in them.
1. Membership overview
FAB Teeth Club is a 12-month minimum-term dental membership.
The Club offers adult membership tiers and children's tiers (Foundation for ages 0–10 and Momentum for ages 11–17). Family bundles are available for households joining two adults and up to two children together. Not every tier is available at all times; tiers not yet released are shown as coming soon, and you can only join a tier that is open.
Membership is charged monthly by recurring Direct Debit collected through GoCardless. Your membership begins on the date of your first successful Direct Debit collection and continues on a rolling monthly basis thereafter, subject to the minimum term in clause 9 and to cancellation in accordance with clause 11.
Some features of the Club are introduced in stages as the Club's clinical and technology infrastructure matures. Where a feature is described as "in preparation" it is not available at the date of your joining; the Club will notify you when it becomes available to your tier.
There is no joining fee and no upfront fee. Your first payment is your first monthly subscription.

Prices are stable. Your monthly price does not step up over time. There is no prevailing price, no founding-price lock, and no scheduled price transition. If the Club ever needs to change a price, clause 19 applies and you will receive not less than 30 days' written notice.
"Unlimited" means delivered on clinical need. Every appointment is provided when your clinician judges it clinically appropriate, on the fair usage basis in clause 6. It does not mean on demand.
3. Children's membership tiers

Children's tier pricing is reviewed periodically and may be updated in accordance with clause 19. The Club commits to not less than 30 days' written notice before any price change affecting your child's membership.
A child member must be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian, who is the contracting party for the child's membership. The minimum-term and cancellation provisions in clauses 9 and 11 apply to children's memberships.
4. Family bundles
Family bundles allow up to two adults and up to two children to be enrolled together under a single Direct Debit and a single household account.
| Bundle | Includes | Monthly price |
|---|---|---|
| FAB Family Foundation | Two adults at All Access plus up to two children at Foundation | £57.95 |
| FAB Family Optimise | Two adults at Optimise plus up to two children at Momentum | £99.95 |
Family bundle membership is a single household contract. If a family member leaves the bundle (for example, a child reaches the age threshold and transitions to an adult tier, or an adult cancels), the bundle pricing will be re-quoted by the Club and either reconfigured or unbundled into individual memberships, on not less than 30 days' written notice.
5. What your membership includes
While your membership is active and your payments are up to date, you may access the benefits set out in your tier (clauses 2, 3 and 4), subject to:
- Clinical suitability — all treatment provided by the Clinic remains subject to clinical judgment.
- Diary availability — appointments are subject to the Clinic's booking capacity.
- Fair usage — clause 6.
- The FAB Smile Warranty being governed by its separate policy (clause 12).
6. Fair usage
References to "unlimited" in these Terms are provided on a fair usage basis. The Club and the Clinic may, acting reasonably, restrict or refuse access where use:
- is not clinically appropriate;
- is not consistent with the preventive purpose of the membership; or
- exceeds what can reasonably be accommodated within the Clinic's diary capacity.
Members will be notified in writing where fair usage is invoked, with reasons. Fair usage is managed by discussion and, if necessary, by restricting access — it is never charged for.
7. What is not included
Membership does not include:
- Routine hygiene appointments (available at member pricing — see clause 8).
- Fees for missed or late-cancelled appointments, governed by the Booking and Cancellations Policy.
- Treatment provided by external providers outside the Clinic.
- Any treatment which is not clinically indicated.
- Worldwide or domestic emergency assistance schemes (the Club does not provide and is not associated with any such scheme).
8. Your two contracts — Club membership and clinical care
Your relationship with FAB Teeth Club operates across two contracts which are designed to feel seamless to you but which are legally distinct.
a. Club membership contract. Between you and FAB Teeth Club Ltd. It governs your subscription, the digital member experience, the FAB Smile Warranty (the Club's promise to you — clause 12), the FAB Points loyalty scheme (clause 20), data protection (clause 14), and the other matters set out in these Terms.
b. Clinical episode contract. Each episode of clinical care you receive — including oral health appointments, hygiene treatment, restorative work, emergency care, and the clinical delivery of any FAB Smile Warranty claim — is delivered under a separate contract between you and the Clinic. The Clinic holds the clinical indemnity for the care delivered in that episode and is the clinical decision-maker.
Where these Terms refer to "the Club", "we" or "us", the reference is to FAB Teeth Club Ltd. Where they refer to "the Clinic", the reference is to your local FTN Clinic at which you receive care.
The FAB Smile Warranty sits across both contracts. The Club promises the warranty to you as part of your membership; the Clinic delivers the clinical work that the warranty entitles you to receive. The arrangements between the Club and each FTN Clinic for delivering warranty claims are governed by the FTN Clinic onboarding agreement and do not affect your entitlement under these Terms.
9. Membership commitment and early cancellation
Your membership has a 12-month minimum term, starting on the date of your first successful Direct Debit collection.
After the minimum term your membership continues on a rolling monthly basis and you may cancel at any time by giving not less than 30 days' notice in writing (see clause 11).
If you cancel during the minimum term, the Club may recover the value of the specific benefits you received because you committed to the full 12 months. There are three, and only three:
(a) Your new-patient oral health appointment, if it was provided without charge at the start of your membership. The amount recoverable is the Clinic's published new-patient examination price as it stood on the date your appointment was delivered.
(b) Recognition pricing you actually received on treatment or hygiene during your membership. The amount recoverable is the difference between the Clinic's published price and the member price you paid, for each item you received.
(c) The member discount you received on at-home whitening, if you received a whitening kit. The amount recoverable is the difference between the standard price and the member price.
Nothing else is recoverable. The Club will not charge you for anything outside (a), (b) and (c) above.
Any recovery will be itemised and explained to you in writing before any charge is taken, and you will have the opportunity to consider it before deciding whether to proceed with cancellation. If you cancel after the minimum term has ended, nothing is recoverable.
Your statutory rights, and your rights under the Direct Debit Guarantee, are unaffected.
10. Founding members
Members who join in the Club's founding cohort are designated "Founding Members". Founding Member status is a recognition, not a pricing mechanism: it does not create a different price, a price lock, or a scheduled price change. Founding Members are recognised in the FAB Points loyalty scheme (clause 20) and in any early-access offers the Club extends from time to time to its founding cohort, on terms communicated at the time.
11. Payments and renewals
- Membership is paid monthly in advance by Direct Debit collected through GoCardless.
- If a Direct Debit payment fails, access to membership benefits may be temporarily suspended. The Club will attempt to re-collect in line with GoCardless retry protocols and will notify you of any failure.
- After the 12-month minimum term, your membership continues on a rolling monthly basis until cancelled in writing with not less than 30 days' notice.
- Your statutory rights under the Direct Debit Guarantee are unaffected by these Terms.
12. FAB Smile Warranty
12.1 The Club's promise
The FAB Smile Warranty is FAB Teeth Club Ltd's promise to you, as part of your membership, that the clinical work covered by your warranty will be supported and protected on the terms set out in the separate Smile Warranty Policy. The warranty is available only while your membership is active and your payments are up to date.
Three layers of warranty apply, in line with your tier:
- Layer 1 (all tiers). Continuity of care within the Clinic, network standard of care, and data portability of your Clinical Intelligence Profile (clause 15).
- Layer 2 (Optimise, Signature). Twelve-month restorative outcome guarantee on qualifying restorative work, plus remote surveillance where available to your tier.
- Layer 3 (Signature). Twenty-four-month complex restoration outcome guarantee and cosmetic outcome commitment on qualifying complex work.
12.2 Who delivers the warranty
The Club promises the warranty to you. The Clinic delivers the warranty across all three layers as the clinical service provider, holding the clinical indemnity for any clinical work carried out under a warranty claim.
If a warranty claim arises, you will be seen and treated at the Clinic, under the same clinical standards and protections that apply to all care delivered at the Clinic. The economic arrangement under which the Clinic delivers warranty claims, and is compensated by the Club for doing so, is governed by an inter-company arrangement within the FAB Group. That arrangement does not affect your entitlement to claim under this warranty or the standard of clinical care you receive.
If, exceptionally, the Clinic is unable to deliver a valid warranty claim (for example because the original Clinic site is no longer available to you), the Club remains accountable to you for the promise made under this clause 12 and will arrange equivalent clinical delivery elsewhere in its network, or such other remedy as is reasonable in the circumstances.
12.3 Compliance and clinical discretion
The FAB Smile Warranty is dynamically conditioned on member compliance with the preventive programme, including attendance at oral health appointments at the cadence agreed with your clinician, adherence to clinical advice and guidance issued via the FAB Teeth Club app, and engagement with the digital member experience (including remote monitoring scans, where applicable to your tier). Compliance is presented to you within the app as one of four states: fully compliant, one outstanding action, multiple outstanding actions, or paused.
Where a warranty claim arises and compliance is incomplete, the clinical decision on the claim rests with the delivering Clinic, applying the diminishment principle in clause 12.4. Compliance is one factor in the clinical and contractual assessment of the claim, considered alongside the clinician's judgement and the specific circumstances of the case.
12.4 Diminishment of warranty entitlement
The FAB Smile Warranty operates on a principle of graduated entitlement, not binary voiding. The level of cover available on any given warranty claim is calibrated to the member's demonstrated compliance with the preventive programme prior to the claim arising:
- Fully compliant. Full warranty entitlement as set out in the Smile Warranty Policy. Qualifying claims delivered free of charge to the member.
- One outstanding action. Substantially full warranty entitlement, with the delivering clinician taking a view in the circumstances. The clinician may require the outstanding action to be completed before warranty work commences.
- Multiple outstanding actions. Partial warranty entitlement. The member may be asked to contribute to the cost of the warranty claim (for example, towards laboratory fees, materials, or chair time) at the clinician's discretion. The contribution will be transparent, proportionate, and communicated in writing before any warranty work commences.
- Paused. Warranty entitlement is paused until compliance resumes. Treatment may still be carried out at the Clinic at your tier's recognition pricing.
Diminishment is determined by the delivering Clinic, using the member's compliance record in the Clinical Intelligence Profile (clause 15) as the objective evidentiary basis, combined with the treating clinician's clinical judgement. Clinical judgement may, in appropriate circumstances, elect to honour a fuller level of entitlement than the compliance state would otherwise suggest (for example, where a member has had an isolated period of disengagement due to bereavement, illness, or another significant life event).
12.5 Scope of warranty — elected pathways and contemplated next steps
The Smile Warranty operates within the Smile of Your Life™ clinical framework, which actively prefers preserving and saving teeth where possible. Many clinical situations offer more than one reasonable pathway. A typical example is a tooth in difficulty: your clinician may present the option of attempting to save the tooth (for instance through root canal treatment) alongside the alternative of removing it and considering a replacement. Each pathway has different costs, different probabilities of success, and different contemplated next steps if the first attempt is unsuccessful.
The Smile Warranty protects the standard of work the Clinic carries out. It does not promise that every preservation attempt will succeed; clinical reality means some attempts are made in the hope of saving a tooth that, despite best efforts, may ultimately not be savable.
For this reason:
- Your clinician will discuss the available pathways with you before treatment, including the comparative costs, the contemplated next steps if a chosen pathway does not succeed, and how each pathway is treated under the warranty.
- The pathway you elect — including the contemplated next steps if the first attempt is unsuccessful — is recorded in your clinical notes and surfaced to you through your Clinical Intelligence Profile (clause 15).
- If a contemplated next step is required (for example, the elected preservation attempt is unsuccessful and a different treatment is now needed), that next step is provided at your tier's recognition pricing. It is not treated as a warranty event, because it was discussed and contemplated at the outset as part of the elected pathway.
- Where the Clinic's standard of work itself falls short of clinical and FAB Teeth Network standards on the original treatment, the Smile Warranty applies in the normal way. The pathway-election principle in this clause 12.5 does not relieve the Clinic of its responsibility for delivering the elected treatment to a proper standard.
- The treating clinician retains discretion to honour the warranty on an unsuccessful pathway outcome where, in the clinician's judgement, the circumstances warrant.
A separate companion document, "How the Smile Warranty Works in Practice", gives worked examples of common pathway scenarios. It is available in your FAB Teeth Club app and at fabteethclub.com/warranty. It does not form part of these Terms; it is provided to help you understand how the warranty operates.
13. Complaints and escalation
13.1 Clinical complaints
Concerns about your clinical care — including diagnosis, treatment, the conduct of clinical staff, or the quality of care delivered — should be raised directly with the Clinic, which holds the clinical responsibility and indemnity for that care.
If a clinical concern is not resolved at first instance, it may be escalated, as appropriate, to:
- the Clinic's formal complaints procedure;
- the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which regulates the Clinic as a provider of regulated activities (www.cqc.org.uk); and
- the General Dental Council (GDC), which regulates the dental professionals delivering your care (www.gdc-uk.org).
FAB Teeth Club Ltd is not the clinical provider and has no regulatory standing before the CQC or the GDC in respect of clinical care. The Club will, where appropriate, assist in routing your complaint to the Clinic.
13.2 Membership, billing and platform complaints
Concerns about your membership subscription, the Club's billing, the FAB Teeth Club app, the FAB Smile Warranty Layer 1, the FAB Points loyalty scheme, the Dr Fliss AI member experience, or any other Club-provided (as opposed to clinical) matter should be raised directly with the Club using the contact details in clause 21.
The Club will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and provide a substantive response within 20 working days. Where a complaint cannot be resolved internally, the Club will, where applicable, advise you of any consumer alternative dispute resolution options available. The Club is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and complaints about the Club are not within the remit of the Financial Ombudsman Service.
13.3 Data protection complaints
Concerns about how your personal data is handled should be raised with FAB Teeth Club Ltd as data controller, in the first instance at privacy@fabteethclub.com.
You have a statutory right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at any time: www.ico.org.uk · 0303 123 1113.
14. Data protection and AI / product improvement
14.1 Controller
FAB Teeth Club Ltd is the data controller for personal data processed by the Club in connection with your membership and the digital member experience.
The Clinic is the controller for personal data processed in connection with the clinical care it delivers to you.
FAB Group Holdings Ltd is a separate controller in respect of the Group-level training corpus referenced in clause 14.2. Controller-to-controller arrangements are in place between FAB Teeth Club Ltd, FAB Group Holdings Ltd and the Clinic, where appropriate.
14.2 Purposes and lawful bases
Personal data, including special-category health data, is processed for the following purposes:
- Clinical service delivery — Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR (performance of contract) and Article 9(2)(h) UK GDPR (provision of health and social care).
- Membership administration — Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR (performance of contract).
- Product and clinical-AI improvement, including model training — Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR (consent) for non-special-category data; Article 9(2)(a) UK GDPR (explicit consent) for special-category health data, including intraoral imagery and clinical observations.
- Longitudinal monitoring of your own care — Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR (performance of contract) and Article 9(2)(h) UK GDPR.
14.3 Our commitments
- Your personal data is held and processed in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area.
- Your personal data is held by the FAB Group. It is never sold to, or shared with, third parties for their own commercial purposes.
- Your data may be processed by carefully selected technical service providers acting as processors on documented instructions, including hosting, payment, secure messaging and clinical-AI infrastructure providers.
- You may withdraw your consent to the AI / product-improvement purpose at any time. On withdrawal, your data will be flagged out of future training. A reasonable position will be taken on data already incorporated into trained models, in line with current ICO guidance.
- Withdrawing AI / product-improvement consent does not affect your membership, your access to the FAB Smile Warranty, or the clinical service you receive.
14.4 Consent mechanism
Consent to the AI / product-improvement purpose is captured in the join flow as a separate, clearly labelled, opt-in tick. It is not pre-ticked, and is not bundled with acceptance of these Terms.
14.5 Your rights
You have rights as a data subject under UK GDPR, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO (clause 13.3). Full details are set out in the Privacy Policy at fabteethclub.com/privacy.
15. Clinical Intelligence Profile and data portability
Each member has a Clinical Intelligence Profile (the "CIP") which combines your clinical data, your Subject Intent Profile, Club-generated insights about your oral health journey, and the structured record of the treatment pathways you have elected with your clinician (clause 12.5).
Your CIP records, in addition to your clinical data:
- treatment options presented to you at each clinical decision point;
- the pathway you elected, with date and clinician;
- contemplated next steps if a pathway proves unsuccessful;
- your compliance signal (clauses 12.3 and 12.4).
The CIP is owned by you, in the sense that:
- you may request a structured export of your CIP at any time, in a commonly used machine-readable format, in accordance with your data portability rights under UK GDPR;
- if you leave the Club, your CIP export can be provided to you or, at your direction, to another dental provider, subject to the practicalities of receiving systems;
- CIP portability is a contractual commitment of FAB Teeth Club Ltd under these Terms, in addition to your statutory rights.
16. Dr Fliss AI
Within the FAB Teeth Club app you may interact with "Dr Fliss AI", an AI-driven member experience designed under the clinical supervision of Dr Felicity Bender (BDS MFDS RCS Edin) and constrained to deliver guidance consistent with the Club's clinical doctrine. This feature is introduced in stages and may not be available to your tier at the date of joining.
You acknowledge that:
- Dr Fliss AI is an AI assistant. It is not a real-time conversation with Dr Bender personally and does not replace clinical advice from your treating clinician.
- The Dr Fliss AI persona, name, likeness and associated brand are owned by FB Brand Ventures Ltd (company number 17166718) and licensed to FAB Teeth Club Ltd under an inter-company licence, for use within the Club.
- Your interactions with Dr Fliss AI are processed in accordance with clause 14.
17. Regulatory status
17.1 Not insurance, not a financial product
FAB Teeth Club is a pre-paid service subscription for defined preventive dental benefits and a digital member experience. It is not a contract of insurance and does not transfer risk from the member to the Club in the manner of an insurance contract.
Specifically:
- The Club does not provide, distribute or arrange any form of dental, accident, emergency or worldwide assistance insurance.
- Treatment provided by the Clinic is paid for by the member subject to recognition pricing as set out in clauses 2 and 3, and is not "covered" by the Club in an insurance sense.
- The FAB Smile Warranty (clause 12) is a service-level commitment dynamically conditioned on member compliance, not an indemnity in respect of a defined contingency.
17.2 Not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority
FAB Teeth Club Ltd is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The Club does not carry out any activity regulated under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 or the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001.
Payment collection is operated through GoCardless Ltd, which is authorised by the FCA as a Payment Institution (FRN 597190) under the Payment Services Regulations 2017.
17.3 Clinic regulation
Clinical care delivered at any FTN Clinic is provided under the regulation of:
- the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which regulates the Clinic premises as a provider of regulated dental activities; and
- the General Dental Council (GDC), which regulates the individual dental professionals delivering your care.
Where a Clinic offers treatment finance, that activity is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and the Clinic is responsible for holding the appropriate permission itself or for arranging finance through an FCA-authorised third-party provider.
As part of the FAB Teeth Network onboarding process, every FTN Clinic warrants and maintains its CQC, GDC and ICO registrations and, where applicable, its FCA permissions, together with valid clinical indemnity insurance. Loss or suspension of a required permission is a breach of the FTN onboarding agreement and triggers immediate review of the Clinic's network status.
The Club is not directly regulated by the CQC or the GDC; those bodies regulate FTN Clinics and the clinicians within them.
17.4 CMA
These Terms are written to align with current Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) guidance on the dental sector, including in relation to fees transparency, member communications and fair contract terms.
18. Appointment booking and cancellations
Appointment bookings are governed by the Booking and Cancellations Policy, which operates separately from these Terms and is maintained by the Clinic. Key principles include:
- an 8-week booking window;
- fees may apply for late cancellation or non-attendance;
- repeated missed appointments may result in restricted booking access.
The full policy is available on request and is published on the Clinic's website.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect clinical, operational, regulatory or product changes. Any material change to your existing membership will be communicated clearly, in writing, with not less than 30 days' notice. If you do not accept a material change you may cancel your membership in accordance with clause 11 without further charge, save for any amounts already due.
20. FAB Points loyalty scheme
FAB Points are a Group-level loyalty currency awarded for engagement with the Club and the wider FAB Group. The Smile Card is a Club-specific stamp card. Scheme participation is governed by these Terms and the FAB Points Scheme Rules, summarised below:
- FAB Points have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- FAB Points are earned in accordance with the rules published in the app and may be redeemed against eligible products and services.
- FAB Points expire 24 months after the date of award if unredeemed, unless otherwise stated at the point of award.
- If your membership is cancelled, unredeemed FAB Points will be forfeited unless the Club, acting reasonably, agrees a redemption window. Statutory cooling-off rights are unaffected.
- The member-get-member referral mechanic awards approximately £20-equivalent in points to the referring member and approximately £10-equivalent in points to the referred member, subject to the referral being a genuine new member completing their first successful Direct Debit collection. The Club may, acting reasonably, decline awards in cases of suspected referral abuse, duplicate accounts or other manipulation.
- The Club may modify the FAB Points Scheme Rules on not less than 30 days' notice, including in relation to earn rates, redemption catalogue and expiry. Accrued balances at the point of change will be honoured under the rules in effect at the time they were earned, save where required by law.

22. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim, subject to your statutory consumer rights.
